Who is this for?
The 4 day course is for the complete novice and will prepare candidates for assessment. Modules include introduction to the construction industry and site safety awareness. Training must be undertaken at your workplace. Operators with previous operating & industry experience will require less training time. The length of time will depend on evidence & profiling. For more information on testing please speak to one of our helpful training co-ordinators.
On completion of the programme candidates will be able to safely maintain and operate Ride on Rollers.
Course Duration
Novice: 4 days
Experienced refresher training & Assessment: 1 Day
Accreditation
We are able to train and test to NPORS. We are able to train to CPCS requirements. Please call for details on CPCS testing.
Candidates will need to upgrade from red to blue card within 2 years by completing an NVQ level 2. Funding may be available for the NVQ.

Additional Information
There is a requirement for site resources.

Max of 6 delegates per day.
Mileage costs may be applied to training taking place over 25 miles from our sites.

What the law says
Regulation 9 of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 places an
absolute duty on the employer to ensure that, all persons who use work equipment must have received adequate training, for purpose of health and safety, including training in the methods which may be adopted when using work equipment.
