Confined Spaces
(Course code: CSpCWNpo8)
Who is this for?
The Confined Space Regulations 1997 apply when it is necessary for workers to carry out work in a confined space including a chamber, tank, flue, vat, silo, pit, trench, pipe, sewer, well, or other similar space in which by virtue of its enclosed nature, there arises a reasonably foreseeable specified risk.
To be competent to work safely in confined spaces, adequate training and experience in the particular work involved is essential. Training standards must be appropriate to the task and to the individuals role and responsibilities, so that work can be carried out safely.
