Who is this for?

This suite of courses has been designed for novice and experienced lift truck operators who require certification to operate the above lift trucks in the workplace.

Course Duration

Option 1. Five day novice course for both categories (Counterbalance & Reach)

Option 2. Three day novice course for Counterbalance only £315

Option 3. Two day course for Reach Conversion

Option 4. One Day refresher course in Counterbalance/Reach for certified operators

Accreditation

The new Approved Code of Practice for rider operated lift trucks came into effect on the 1st October 1999. All lift truck operators must have undergone an approved training and assessment programme.
Regulation 9 of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 places an absolute duty on the employer to ensure that, all persons who use work equipment must have received adequate training, for purpose of health and safety, including training in the methods which may be adopted when using work equipment.

Successful candidates are issued with a certificate & an identity card & registered with the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme, an accrediting body recognised by the Health & safety Commission.
