Business Compliance - Safe Worker Technicians & Fitters
(Course code: BCtfCWCi6)
Who is this for?
Health and Safety compliance is more than Red Tape and yes, it may cause major headaches for many employers including micro businesses and the sole trader but is a necessary evil. In the current working environment even minor accidents or incidents can have potentially litigious and costly consequences.
The aim of this programme is to equip employees, especially those employed in micro businesses with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to operate safely in the workplace.
Typical attendees will be electro mechanical fitters, maintenance personal, retrofit engineers, technicians and those who supervise and plan maintenance activities
Due to the nature of the work activity Technicians, Service Engineers, and Vehicle Fitters are often exposed to higher and variable workplace hazards than those working in a controlled environment. Many work alone, remotely and come in to contact with unknown contaminates.
For this cohort to remain safe and your business compliant, clear policy and procedures should be adopted. At the end of the course delegates should have sufficient knowledge and understanding to enable them to carryout their duties safely in accordance with organisational procedures.
