Business Compliance - Forklift Driver

Who is this for?
This courses has been designed for novice and experienced lift truck operators who require certification to operate lift trucks in the workplace.
Employees will undertake 3 days of forklift operator training (Counterbalance or Reach) at our Westbury training centre and be inducted and registered for NVQ Level 2 Plant operations. After a period of consolidation, visits will take place to observe performance in the workplace and collection of underpinning knowledge will take place, using our paperless system.
To achieve the qualification, candidates are:
Profiled & inducted
Observed carrying out performance
operations
Questioned on their knowledge
In addition statements from supervisors and or/ logbook entries are used to ascertain workplace competence over time.

This is FREE TRAINING and is an ESF Funded Project in conjunction with Wiltshire County Council and Wessex Chamber of Commerce supporting employer demand-led skills.

Successful candidates are issued with a
certificate & an identity card and registered with the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme, an accrediting body recognised by the Health & Safety Commission.
Mileage costs may be applied to training taking place over 25 miles from our sites.
